\n\tSuperfan Ben Stiller<\/a> has confirmed he is making a multi-part documentary series about the history of the New York Knicks<\/a> and their historic championship win last weekend, in partnership with the NBA, HBO and A24. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe series will chronicle the history, culture, and enduring legacy of the Knicks, culminating with the franchise\u2019s first NBA championship in 53 years.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cCouldn\u2019t be more excited to make this doc with @a24 and @hbo about the NY KNICKS!!!!,\u201d Stiller posted on X, adding \u201c#LETSGOKNICKS.\u201d He guested on the Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart\u2019s \u201cRoommates\u201d podcast Wednesday, telling the winning players \u201cI did say \u2018Knicks in 26.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cObviously I\u2019ve been shooting some stuff on my phone,\u201d he continued on the podcast, \u201cBut it\u2019s going to be about all eras of the Knicks, and this team obviously, there\u2019s a culmination here, of something that\u2019s been going on for a long time. It\u2019s super exciting. It\u2019s great to have had all this access to your team. We\u2019re going to probably be shooting a little bit more during next season, and I\u2019m going to hit you guys up for some interviews. It\u2019s going to be over the next year that we\u2019ll be working on it,\u201d he told the hosts. \u201cA lot of people have wanted to make it happen for a long time.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tStiller is directing the event series produced in partnership with A24. The series will \u201ctrace the full arc of the franchise from the \u201990s to the improbable, record-breaking run that finally returned a championship to New York,\u201d an official synopsis from A24 said. <\/p>\n
