Dean Cain, your pronouns are has\/been.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tToday, Leguizamo doubled down, posting an image of a doctored DVD case featuring Cain\u2019s likeness and name with the title \u201cAGED ICE\u201d on his Instagram Story. The caption of the original post read: \u201cMore like \u2018Dean needs a cane\u2019 amiright?\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tCain, who is best known for his portrayal of Superman in ABC\u2019s four-season Lois &amp; Clark: The New Adventures of Superman, announced he would be sworn in as an ICE officer after endorsing the organization in a recruitment video posted to social media.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\t\u201cI\u2019m actually \u2026 a sworn deputy sheriff and a reserve police officer,\u201d he said during a Wednesday interview on Fox News\u2019\u00a0Jesse Watters\u00a0Primetime. \u201cI wasn\u2019t part of ICE, but once I put that [the recruitment video] out there and you put a little blurb on your show, it went crazy. So now I\u2019ve spoken with some officials over at ICE and I will be sworn in as an ICE agent ASAP.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/ lrv-u-margin-lr-auto     \">\n\tThe pro-Donald Trump Cain has also recently been in headlines due to his disavowal of James Gunn\u2019s Superman, <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/dean-cain-james-gunn-mistake-superman-immigrant-woke-hollywood-1236454120\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">calling it a \u201cmistake\u201d for being too \u201cwoke.\u201d<\/a> This, despite Gunn\u2019s sticking to Kal-El\u2019s comic book origin story and the <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2025\/07\/james-gunn-superman-immigrant-american-story-kindness-1236450534\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">character\u2019s allegory for the immigrant experience<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"John Leguizamo is not mincing words in addressing Dean Cain\u2018s recent decision to join ICE.
