Kyle Cooke sent fans into a frenzy on Thursday when he appeared to announce he was stepping away from \u201cSummer House\u201d after 10 seasons on the hit reality show. Though, just moments later, he edited the caption of his Instagram post<\/a> to clear up the speculation. <\/p>\n

Cooke originally said it was the \u201cEnd of an era \ud83d\ude2d\u201d as he shared photos from the iconic Sag Harbor home the cast inhabits while filming the show. <\/p>\n

\u201cI can\u2019t tell how hard it was to muster up a smile in this photo with my producers. Per usual I was the last to leave the house when we wrapped because I lug so much gear out. But this year was different. 10 seasons in the books. A new show on the way. And a heartbreaking way to end one helluva run,\u201d he wrote. <\/p>\n

On Thursday, Kyle Cooke walked back what some interpreted to be an announcement that he\u2019s leaving \u201cSummer House.\u201d He\u2019s seen above in a selfie from the Instagram upload. kylecooke\/Instagram<\/p>\n

Cooke, seen here at an April event, wrote that the end of 10 years was \u201cheartbreaking.\u201d Clifton Prescod\/Bravo<\/p>\n

Cooke, 43, added that he was \u201ctearing up\u201d about leaving the show that made him famous because \u201cwe truly become a family shooting this show and it was a gut wrenching way to leave this house for good.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued in part, \u201cI think we can finally close this chapter (but don\u2019t blame me if I post some throwbacks that are a lot happier than me driving home all by myself as we filmed the cross over). Finally, thank you to the fans for believing in this show and for all of your support over the last decade. \u2764\ufe0f \ud83d\ude4f\ud83c\udffb xoxo\u201d <\/p>\n

Minutes later, however, he adjusted the caption to say the following, \u201cEDIT! End of Season 10 and a decade of filming this show as I know it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe show isn\u2019t cancelled and this is not me announcing I won\u2019t return. I was feeling emo and always planned sharing the cover photo because it DID feel like the end of an era, which is why everyone else was so emotional saying their goodbyes on the finale. Sorry everyone!\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, in the comments section, fans expressed shock and confusion.<\/p>\n

A rep for the show told Page Six that Cooke \u201cmeant it\u2019s the end of a decade and being married on the show.\u201d <\/p>\n

Cooke began appearing on the show in 2017, and during its run, married co-star Amanda Batula<\/a>, from whom he split earlier this year<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Batula and their co-star West Wilson released a bombshell statement<\/a> in March revealing that they\u2019d been secretly dating \u2014 an admission that rocked the cast, including Wilson\u2019s ex and Batula\u2019s former BFF<\/a>, Ciara Miller. <\/p>\n

The confusion came after news broke on Monday that Wilson \u201cwas not picked up\u201d <\/a>for Season 11 following the scandal surrounding his relationship with Amanda Batula<\/a>,\u00a0according to TMZ. <\/p>\n

Sources connected to the reality series reportedly told the outlet\u00a0<\/a>that Wilson could still make a cameo in the upcoming season. <\/p>\n
