ULM head women\u2019s basketball coach Scotty Fletcher announced another addition to his staff for the 2025-26 season. Elyssa Coleman joins the staff as the newest assistant coach for the Warhawks.

Coleman arrives from UTSA after spending a season as the team\u2019s director of operations. The former forward helped the Roadrunners to a 26-5 record last season, claiming UTSA\u2019s first regular-season conference title since the 2008-09 season and setting a program record with 26 wins.

In her final season as a player, she helped the team go 18-15, claiming the Roadrunners\u2019 first national postseason berth in 15 years with a trip to the WNIT. Coleman holds the program record for career blocks (140) and racked up 588 boards across three seasons and 94 games. The Houston, Texas, native was also named to the 2022-23 Conference-USA All-Defensive team.

Coleman earned her bachelor\u2019s degree in sociology from\u00a0UTSA\u00a0in December 2023.<\/p>\n
