Last month we heard that the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/cmf_phone_3_pros_key_specifications_leaked-news-72320.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">CMF Phone 3 Pro<\/a> would arrive <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gsmarena.com\/cmf_phone_3_pro_tipped_to_arrive_later_than_usual-news-72911.php\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">in the third quarter of the year<\/a>, with the most likely release window being August to September.<\/p>\n<p>Unfortunately, that&#8217;s not happening anymore. Nothing co-founder Akis Evangelidis has revealed that there will be no CMF phone launch this year. The reason is easy to guess &#8211; memory prices.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"inline-image\" width=\"1200\" height=\"799\" alt=\"CMF Phone 2 Pro\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/1781886910_473_gsmarena_001.jpg\"\/><br \/>\nCMF Phone 2 Pro<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s not surprising, after all the CMF line was the ultra-budget one from Nothing, and the cheaper the phone the more it&#8217;s negatively impacted by surging memory prices. Evangelidis says the company simply &#8220;can&#8217;t build a phone that feels like a genuine step forward at a price that makes sense for CMF&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>While there will be no new CMF phone this year, &#8220;several new products&#8221; are coming from the brand, including some in entirely new categories. Evangelidis has also teased a new Nothing phone coming soon &#8211; could it be the Phone (4)?
