BUT YOU CAN SAY IT BETTER THAN I CAN WASTE ALL FATHERS STATE. THERE YOU GO. THAT’S THAT’S THE WAY TO IT’S GOING TO BE A >> SUPER WARM ONE OUTDOORS THIS WEEKEND HOTTER THAN YOU WOULD EXPECT TO SEE EVEN DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE. AND THAT IS BECAUSE WE WILL HAVE A MINIMAL STORM COVERAGE THIS WEEKEND TO SORT OF TAMPER DOWN THE HEAT AND THE HUMIDITY DURING THE AFTERNOON HOURS, AT LEAST AND POINTS WEST OF INTERSTATE 75. SO LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR FATHERS DAY WEEKEND HERE ON SUNDAY, THE HEAT INDEX VALUES WILL LIKELY BE UP AND ABOVE 103 DURING THE HEAT OF THE DAY. BUT LOOK AT HOW THE RAIN COVERAGE PLAYS OUT ON SUNDAY. AS YOU KNOW, IF YOU’VE BEEN PAYING ATTENTION TO GULF COAST NEWS, WE’VE MENTIONED HOW THE STEERING CURRENTS HAVE BEEN VERY PERSISTENT AND OUT OF THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST. AND THAT’S WHY THE SEA BREEZE AND ALL THE BIG AFTERNOON THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEEN GOING TOWARD THE CENTER OF THE STATE AND THE OTHER COAST AND AVOIDING AREAS LIKE PORT CHARLOTTE AND GORDA, CAPE CORAL, NAPLES AND MARCO ISLAND AND A VERY SIMILAR SET UP IS WITH US ONCE AGAIN ON SUNDAY. SO THE WIDEST CONCENTRATION OF RAIN FOR THE 2ND HALF OF THE WEEKEND ON FATHER’S DAY IN THE AFTERNOON. ONCE AGAIN FORECAST TO BE AROUND LAKE OKEECHOBEE AND AGAIN TOWARD THE EAST COAST OF SOUTH FLORIDA. IN THE MEANTIME, FOR THE REST OF THE NIGHT TONIGHT, THE HUMIDITY IS SUPER SUPER THICK OUT THERE. BUT SOMETHING I WANTED TO POINT OUT. THAT’S DIFFERENT. TOMORROW IS A LITTLE OPPORTUNITY HERE FOR SOME ISOLATED SHOWERS OR EVEN SOME RUMBLES OF THUNDER DURING THE 1ST HALF OF THE DAY. AS YOU KNOW, WE HAVE STEERING WINDS THAT ARE FROM THE WEST AND SOUTHWEST. AND WHEN THAT HAPPENS, THE SEA BREEZE GETS AN EARLY START. SO FOR AREAS LIKE CAPE CORAL AND FORT MYERS AND NORTH FORT MYERS, LIKE YOU SAW THERE A SECOND AGO, THE BEST CHANCE FOR ANY STORMS THIS WEEKEND IS ACTUALLY FAIRLY EARLY ON SATURDAY WHEN THE SEA BREEZE WORKS. AND THEN AFTER LUNCHTIME THAT SEA BREEZE GETS PUSHED WELL INLAND AGAIN, SO MUCH LIKE TODAY AND EVERY OTHER DAY THIS WEEK, THE WIDEST COVERAGE OF RAIN AND STORMS FOR US ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON AND SATURDAY EVENING LIKE THE WILL TO THE EAST OF FORT MYERS AND CAPE CORAL. YOU CAN SEE THIS PLAY OUT REALLY WELL ON THE REGIONAL FUTURE CAST EARLIER ARRIVING SEABREEZE MEANS THE BEST CHANCE FOR ANY RAIN OR STORMS ALONG US. 41 OR I-75 IS PRETTY EARLY IN THE DAY THROUGHOUT THE HEAT OF THE DAY IN THE AFTERNOON AND THE EVENING, JUST LIKE EARLIER TONIGHT, THE WIDEST COVERAGE OF DOWNPOURS AND STORMS FAVORS INLAND AREAS EAST OF INTERSTATE 75 IN TOWARD THE EAST COAST OF SOUTH FLORIDA. SOMETHING WILL HAVE TO BE AWARE OF IS THAT OUTFLOW BOUNDARIES MAY TRY TO PULL ONE OR 2 OF THESE CELLS BACK TOWARD THE COAST, BUT IT WON’T BE ENOUGH TO REALLY STAMP DOWN THE HEAT INDEX VALUES AS MUCH LIKE TODAY. WE EXPECT THE FEEL-LIKE TEMPERATURES DURING THE HEAT OF THE DAY TOMORROW TO BE UPWARDS OF 106 IN THE AFTERNOON. THAT IS HOT, EVEN FOR OUR PART OF THE WORLD. DURING THE MONTH OF JUNE. SOMETHING ALSO WANTED TO MENTION IN YOUR CERTIFIED MOST ACCURATE 7 DAY FORECAST IS JUDGED INDEPENDENTLY BY THE FOLKS OVER AT WHETHER RATE IS THAT EVEN THOUGH THE CHANCE OF A SHOWER DOWNPOUR OR THUNDERSTORM IS WITH US EVERY SINGLE DAY HALL, THE WAY THROUGH THE MIDDLE OF NEXT WEEK.
