OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) – Two shooting victims were found in separate areas of north Omaha early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n
Omaha police responded to reports of shots fired near 24th and Lake streets just before 3:30 a.m. Officers found an adult woman suffering from at least one gunshot wound. She was taken to the hospital with life-saving measures in progress.<\/p>\n
Police blocked several streets in the area.<\/p>\n
Lt. Chuck Casey said there was a large gathering in the area when officers arrived. Police are trying to find out what happened and urge anyone with information to call them.<\/p>\n
Around the same time and several blocks away, another shooting victim was found near Florence Boulevard and Lake Street. That person was rushed to the hospital with critical injuries.<\/p>\n
Police have not said if the two shootings are related.<\/p>\n
