\nBilly White III, a four-star small forward in the 2026 class, has committed to SMU and has reclassified into the 2025 class, he told Rivals. He becomes one of the highest-ranked players to ever commit to the program. The 6-foot-8 small forward of Veterans Memorial High School in Corpus Christi, TX is ranked as the No. 40 overall recruit in the 2026 class.
