While a number of the cast members of the original \u201cX-Men\u201d films appear in Marvel Studios\u2019 \u201cAvengers: Doomsday,\u201d there are two very notable absentees \u2013 Halle Berry\u2019s Storm and Famke Janssen\u2019s Jean Grey\/Dark Phoenix.<\/p>\n

Both actresses have made it clear they\u2019re not appearing in the film, with Berry famously seemingly not that fussed about missing out. In a new interview, Janssen says Marvel \u201cmade a mistake\u201d not bringing her back.<\/p>\n

Back in November, the \u201cGoldeneye\u201d actress confirmed she had \u201cnever ever\u201d heard from Disney about potentially reprising her role for some MCU project. She says that in almost every interview she does, the question of returning to the character will come up.<\/p>\n

Now, speaking with Nerdtropolis<\/a> recently, she says it\u2019s shame Marvel didn\u2019t bring her back:<\/p>\n

\u201cI am so bad at keeping secrets that I always say to everyone I\u2019m the worst actor in the world. It\u2019s all on my face. You right away will read it. I think they made a mistake, but hey, who am I? I\u2019m just a little me who thinks that.\u201d<\/p>\n

Then asked if she still has some of Phoenix left in her and would be ready for another installment, she says: \u201cOh, yes. I am ready. I am ready to show you some Phoenix, some very dark Phoenix.\u201d<\/p>\n

Janssen last appeared as Jean Grey in \u201cX-Men: Days of Future Past\u201d in 2014.
