(WOWT) &#8211; Police have identified the woman <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wowt.com\/2026\/06\/20\/two-people-injured-north-omaha-shootings\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wowt.com\/2026\/06\/20\/two-people-injured-north-omaha-shootings\/\">killed in a shooting<\/a> in North Omaha early Saturday morning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Omaha Police told First Alert 6 the woman killed in the shooting has been identified as 28-year-old Jamise Thompson.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Around 3:30 a.m. Saturday, officers responded to the scene near 24th and Lake, where they found Thompson suffering from a gunshot wound.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Thompson was taken to the hospital with life-saving measures in progress, but she died at the hospital, according to OPD.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Around the same time that morning, another shooting victim, a 16-year-old boy, was found near Florence Boulevard and Lake Street. He was rushed to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">OPD says the investigation is ongoing.
