{"id":718745,"date":"2026-06-22T07:02:14","date_gmt":"2026-06-22T07:02:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/718745\/"},"modified":"2026-06-22T07:02:14","modified_gmt":"2026-06-22T07:02:14","slug":"china-adds-10-us-firms-to-export-control-list-restricts-46-from-government-procurement","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/718745\/","title":{"rendered":"China adds 10 US firms to export control list, restricts 46 from government procurement"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>China announced on Monday that it will add 10 American firms to its export control list, including two <a target=\"_self\" class=\"e1yy41x40 ef9u0v01 css-1ankfgb ecgc78b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/topics\/rare-earths?module=inline&amp;pgtype=article\" title=\"\" data-qa=\"BaseLink-renderAnchor-StyledAnchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">rare earth<\/a> firms, while also restricting 46 US firms from government procurement, signalling it would respond to Washington\u2019s recent expansion of a military blacklist, even amid a broader stabilisation of bilateral ties.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">Analysts said that the measures from both sides so far were unlikely to significantly derail relations, though they also warned of the impact from any escalation.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">The Ministry of Commerce said in a statement on Monday that the 10 American firms to be added to the export control list were Aveox, Red Cat Holdings, Teal Drones, IMSAR, Jaia Robotics, Ball Aerospace &amp; Technologies, Oshkosh Defence, L3Harris Maritime Services, MP Materials and USA Rare Earth.<\/p>\n<p>A spokesperson for the Ministry of Commerce said the decisions were made in response to \u201cmalicious actions\u201d by the US government, after the US Department of Defence <a target=\"_self\" class=\"e1yy41x40 ef9u0v01 css-1ankfgb ecgc78b0\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scmp.com\/news\/china\/diplomacy\/article\/3356419\/us-adds-alibaba-byd-and-other-chinese-tech-champions-military-company-list?module=inline&amp;pgtype=article\" title=\"\" data-qa=\"BaseLink-renderAnchor-StyledAnchor\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">expanded its list<\/a> of \u201cChinese military companies\u201d.<\/p>\n<p datatype=\"p\" data-qa=\"Component-Component\" class=\"e8zc9q40 css-1c6uqr6 ec74h0k1\">\u201cChina has decided, in accordance with the relevant laws and provisions\u2026 to include Aveox, Inc. and nine other US military-related entities on the export control list.
