Pictures <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/animation\/\" id=\"auto-tag_animation_1\" data-tag=\"animation\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Animation<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tDescribed as a \u201cfossil fantasy animated musical\u201d Prehistoria will be an original project, set outside Medrano\u2019s popular \u201cHellaverse\u201d universe. <\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\t\u201cSince I began my animation journey, my biggest dream was to be part of a feature film,\u201d Medrano said in a statement. \u201cNow to be creating an original story that I have been holding for years with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/warner-bros-pictures-animation\/\" id=\"auto-tag_warner-bros-pictures-animation_1\" data-tag=\"warner-bros-pictures-animation\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Warner Bros. Pictures Animation<\/a>, a studio whose characters and stories have been a huge part of my life, is truly a dream come true. I\u2019m SO excited to share this fossil fantasy world with everyone!\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tWarner Bros. Pictures Animation president Bill Damaschke announced the project at a presentation at the Annecy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hollywoodreporter.com\/t\/international\/\" id=\"auto-tag_international_1\" data-tag=\"international\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">International<\/a> Animation festival on Monday. He presented the deal as evidence of WBPA\u2019s strategy of collaborating with online creators with strong direct-to-fan connections to engage new audiences.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paragraph larva \/\/  a-font-body-m     \">\n\tPrehistoria is being set up for theatrical release, with further details expected as the project moves through development. The film is part of WBPA\u2019s new slate of original animation features, which include the upcoming original musical Bad Fairies, starring Cynthia Erivo and Ncuti Gatwa; and The Lunar Chronicles, an adaptation of Marissa Meyer\u2019s best-selling book series.
