\n\tOlivia Rodrigo<\/a>\u2018s just announced Daisy Chain Fields Festival is not only donating 100% of its proceeds to charity, but the stacked lineup of all-women artists are also performing for free.<\/p>\n

\n\tIn an interview with Diane Sawyer on \u201cGood Morning America\u201d Tuesday, Rodrigo spoke more in-depth about the festival, which she announced Monday night<\/a>. The fest, taking place in Irvine, California on Aug. 29, features an eclectic lineup including Chappell Roan, Doechii, Katseye, Mitski, the Breeders, Die Spitz, Bikini Kill, Eli, Garbage, Quiet Light, Rachel Chinouriri and Not for Radio. Rodrigo herself will also perform, of course.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cI\u2019m so excited about the lineup. My friend Chappell Roan is going to do it, Doechii, Bikini Kill \u2014 Kathleen Hanna is a huge hero of mine,\u201d Rodrigo told Sawyer. \u201c100% of the net proceeds of the festival go to charity, and all the incredible artists who are on the bill are doing it for free for charity, which is just a real testament to their hearts as well as the talent.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tOf the festival\u2019s name, Rodrigo said she \u201chad an image in my head of girls sitting underneath a tree, making their daisy chains or flower crowns or friendship bracelets \u2026 I also just like the idea of a daisy chain, that we can all be individual links in this chain that is like, larger than the individual.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRodrigo said she was hugely inspired by Lilith Fair, the all-women, for-charity festival that McLachlan put on in the \u201990s. \u201cActually, the first person that I called when I decided that I wanted to do this festival was Sarah McLachlan,\u201d Rodrigo said. \u201cShe\u2019s a total trailblazer and an incredible artist and a friend.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tMcLachlan, Stevie Nicks and Karen O of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs are also set to appear at the fest as special guests. When Sawyer said she\u2019d like to see Nicks and Rodrigo duet on \u201cLandslide,\u201d the pop star replied: \u201cWe might make that happen for you, Diane. We\u2019ll see! Can\u2019t give too much away.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThe organizations that Daisy Chain Fields is partnering with include Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, Center for Reproductive Rights, FreeFrom, Jhpiego, Johns Hopkins Center for Indigenous Health, National Domestic Workers Alliance, National Institute for Reproductive Health, National Women\u2019s Law Center and Planned Parenthood.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThe lineup is truly insane and full of my heroes and friends,\u201d Rodrigo wrote in an Instagram post announcing the festival. \u201cI firmly believe that joy, community and music can be the drivers of meaningful change and I\u2019m hopeful this festival will be just that.
