{"id":722340,"date":"2026-06-24T01:54:10","date_gmt":"2026-06-24T01:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/722340\/"},"modified":"2026-06-24T01:54:10","modified_gmt":"2026-06-24T01:54:10","slug":"report-panthers-among-teams-interested-in-jets-hellebuyck","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/722340\/","title":{"rendered":"Report: Panthers among teams interested in Jets&#8217; Hellebuyck\u2026"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Florida Panthers are among a number of teams that have expressed interest in Winnipeg Jets goaltender Connor Hellebuyck, reports <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tsn.ca\/nhl\/video\/2026\/06\/23\/insider-trading-sharks-have-immense-interest-in-2nd-overall-pick\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">TSN&#8217;s Darren Dreger<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Hellebuyck is under contract for five more years with an $8.5-million cap hit, but the Jets are apparently open to trading him for the right offer.<\/p>\n<p>Florida doesn&#8217;t have any goalies signed for next season, with Sergei Bobrovsky and Daniil Tarasov both pending unrestricted free agents. It&#8217;s unclear what the Panthers might offer for Hellebuyck, as they&#8217;re without a first-round pick until 2030 following Sunday&#8217;s Brady Tkachuk trade, and their farm system is among the worst in the league.<\/p>\n<p>Hellebuyck has spent his entire 11-year career in Winnipeg.
