They then blew an 18-point halftime lead \u2014 and a 27-16 lead with 6 minutes left \u2014 to lose to the Bears 31-27.<\/p>\n<p>The Packers are using the collapse(s) as motivation heading into 2026, receiver Christian Watson told NFL Media on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nfl.com\/news\/2025-collapse-fueling-christian-watson-packers-finish-is-a-big-emphasis-for-us-this-year\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">It\u2019s definitely fueling us<\/a>, 100 percent,\u201d Watson told Patrick Claybon and Judy Battista. \u201cObviously, we\u2019d like to move on from those things, but it\u2019s hard to move on from the reason behind losing those games.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A few years ago, the Cowboys\u2019 season motto after a similar collapse the previous season was \u201cFinish.\u201d That is the Packers\u2019 mindset for 2026. <\/p>\n<p>Clean it up and close it out.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it really comes down to just not being able to finish in crucial moments, in crucial games, just not being able to finish,\u201d Watson said. \u201cThat\u2019s been a huge staple for us in terms of our mindset throughout this offseason of just consistently finishing. Finishing everything. Finishing every drill, every practice, every play.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve got to be able to build on that and carry that into this training camp and start the season that way so we can finish it that way.
