With \u201cSupergirl\u201d having premiered, new tidbits on James Gunn\u2019s currently filming \u201cMan of Tomorrow\u201d have emerged.<\/p>\n

First up, Brandon Davis<\/a> spoke with executive producer Lars Winter at the \u201cSupergirl\u201d premiere and he confirmed that filming on the project is already halfway through. He adds:<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re creating this Superman family. You\u2019re seeing them [Superman and Supergirl] now gather as a team\u2026 and we brought in some of our Hall of Justice friends again. We\u2019re building up. Now you\u2019re seeing all our team together deal\u2026 with a whole new level of villain\u2026 \u201c<\/p>\n

The comment comes as THR<\/a> reports that DC Studios co-chairmen and co-CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran have already met with Paramount Skydance chairman and CEO David Ellison who visited the set in Atlanta.<\/p>\n

Winter tells that outlet that, at least so far, things with the incoming new boss seem to be good:<\/p>\n

\u201cHe came to Trilith [Studios] already. That\u2019s where we shoot all our movies that James directs. He came to Atlanta, we showed him everything, and we\u2019re having discussions with him.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s pretty open to what we\u2019re doing. We do have a slate and a lot of it \u2014 obviously, Clayface is already coming out. We already have the Lanterns TV show. On those things, the train\u2019s left the station. So we\u2019re good. But he\u2019s a big fan, he\u2019s been great with us. He\u2019s giving us kind of what we want. So far, everything\u2019s good.\u201d<\/p>\n

Winter also confirmed that Milly Alcock\u2019s Supergirl will play a \u201cbig part\u201d in the next movie after \u201cMan of Tomorrow\u201d but didn\u2019t elaborate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Warner Bros.
