\n\tSean Hannity<\/a> clarified that he\u2019s being treated for a pinched nerve following concern and speculation about his health from viewers who noticed that he has had a \u201cpuffy face and raspy voice\u201d during recent episodes of his Fox News<\/a> show.<\/p>\n

\n\tHannity says that the injury occurred while \u201ctraining,\u201d likely referring to his martial arts practice. The conservative anchor has said in the past that he trains four days per week in a blend of Krav Maga, jujitsu and kenpo. According to Hannity, the swelling and vocal issues are side effects of his prednisone prescription, but he\u2019s doing well and remains active.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cThanks to everyone who has checked in. I\u2019ve already addressed this several times on my radio show, but while training, I developed a painful pinched nerve in my neck,\u201d he wrote on X<\/a> on Wednesday. \u201cMy doctor put me on prednisone to reduce the inflammation, and while it\u2019s helping, it\u00a0led to laryngitis and some puffiness, which is normal for this medication.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tWith some snark about the attention he\u2019s receiving, Hannity continued, \u201cI\u2019m fine, recovering well, and still training, but apparently a few weeks of prednisone has generated more social media commentary than 30 years\u00a0of ratings success. I appreciate all the concern and well wishes\u2014including from members of the left-wing media. Sorry to disappoint them, but a pinched nerve, a raspy voice, and a puffy face aren\u2019t taking me out anytime soon.\u201d<\/p>\n
