ST. BERNARD PARISH, La. (WVUE) – St. Bernard Parish will hold a parade today to celebrate NBA Champion Mitchell Robinson, a Chalmette High School graduate.<\/p>\n
NBA champion Mitchell Robinson returns to Chalmette<\/a><\/p>\n The parade begins at 6:30 p.m. and will travel eastbound on Judge Perez Drive from Old Hickory Avenue to Palmisano Boulevard, ending near Chalmette High School. The route is approximately 1.2 miles.<\/p>\n Mitchell Robinson will toss custom limited-edition mini basketballs from his parade float to fans along the route.<\/p>\n Road closures will begin at 5 p.m. Eastbound Judge Perez Drive will be closed from Jean Lafitte Parkway to Palmisano Boulevard, with eastbound traffic detoured to Jean Lafitte Parkway and St. Bernard Highway.
