ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) \u2014 Five Braves players have been named finalists to start in the 2026 MLB All-Star Game. <\/p>\n
Catcher Drake Baldwin, first baseman Matt Olson, second baseman Ozzie Albies and outfielders Ronald Acu\u00f1a Jr. and Michael Harris II were named finalists. <\/p>\n
Baldwin, Olson and Albies advanced to the second round of voting after being in the two vote getters at their positions in the first round. Acu\u00f1a and Harris were among the top six outfielders. <\/p>\n
Baldwin will face off against the Los Angeles Dodgers\u2019 Will Smith; Olson will face off against Dodgers first baseman and former Braves player Freddie Freeman; Albies will face off the against Philadelphia Phillies\u2019 Bryson Stott; Acu\u00f1a and Harris are competing with Philadephia\u2019s Brandon Marsh, the New York Mets\u2019 Juan Soto and the Dodgers\u2019 Andy Pages and Teoscar Hernandez. <\/p>\n
The top vote getters at each position will then be named starters for the 2026 MLB All-Star Game. <\/p>\n
Phase two voting opens June 29 at noon and closes July 2. <\/p>\n
The All-Star Game is set for July 14 at Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia. <\/p>\n
