Reese finished with a double-double despite the defeat, scoring 15 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in 29 minutes on the floor. <\/p>\n
While she only shot 4-of-11 from the field, she made her presence felt defensively by picking up a career-high six steals.<\/p>\n
Friday’s matchup was a back-and-forth affair, as neither team led by more than six points throughout the duration of the game.<\/p>\n
The contest started off as a defensive showcase, with the score still tied 10-10 as just under four minutes remained in the first quarter.<\/p>\n
Atlanta took a one-point lead just before the end of the quarter due to a step-back triple from Jordin Canada.<\/p>\n
Neither squad found much consistency on offense for the remainder of the first half, as the Dream held a narrow 35-32 advantage at halftime.<\/p>\n
Atlanta pushed its lead to five points with just under seven minutes left in the third quarter, but Golden State responded with a quick 6-0 run to jump back in front.<\/p>\n
