Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem on Saturday
\ncriticized the recently signed Lebanon\u2013Israel framework agreement, describing
\nits terms as \u201cfree concessions\u201d aligned with US and Israeli demands rather than
\nbalanced negotiations.<\/p>\n
In a statement, Qassem argued that the talks are taking
\nplace amid deep political divisions in Lebanon and run contrary to the
\ncountry\u2019s constitution, which designates Israel as an enemy and criminalizes
\nany form of engagement with it.<\/p>\n
Accusing the Lebanese authorities of sidelining the group,
\nhe condemned the March 2 government decision that outlawed Hezbollah, calling
\nit a turning point that served Israeli objectives.<\/p>\n
