In 2019, Ariana Grande<\/a> reflected on her past relationships with her hit single \u201cThank U Next<\/a>,\u201d and now she\u2019s adding some pointed lyric changes. For her first Eternal Sunshine tour stop in Austin, Texas, on June 24, Grande changed<\/a> the lyric from \u201cWrote some songs about Ricky, now I listen and laugh\u201d to \u201cNow they still kinda slap.\u201d Some fans assumed Grande was just hinting that she would be singing a song about Ricky Alvarez, her ex from 2015-2016. But soon, she was seen getting lunch with Alvarez in Texas. A source told People<\/a> the two have \u201cbeen hanging out recently,\u201d which is evident by getting lunch. Grande then switched another lyric change to \u201cI know he still got my back\u201d at the June 26 show. Alvarez shook<\/a> Grande\u2019s father\u2019s hand after she sang the lyric.<\/p>\n Does this mean Grande\u2019s dating Alvarez again, or is she\u2019s just reconnecting with an old friend? She\u2019s shut down dating rumors before, like in 2018 when she had a playful back-and-forth with him on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>. \u201cWe\u2019re friends, everyone take a big ol breather,\u201d she wrote in response to a fan asking about them. Maybe a nice deep breath is advice to take again \u2014 she just got out of a three-year relationship with Ethan Slater<\/a> and began a global tour. She can say thank you, but doesn\u2019t need to move on to the next just yet.
