But that isn\u2019t the end of it, as many analysts in the tech industry warn that RAM and SSD prices are yet to soar, with no end in sight, thanks to AI. That means that the BoM of the PS6 could continue to rise, putting it well past the $1000 mark,<\/p>\n
That means even with PlayStation traditionally subsidizing its console cost in favor of software profits, the PlayStation 6 could still cost $1000 or more, as consoles have traditionally been subsidized by only around $100-$200.<\/p>\n
