There will also be a dog show, with registration opening from 11.15am, as well as dance and music performances running until 3.30pm on the field.<\/p>\n

Another part of the event is a 5k road run that will take place on the closed Carnival route, starting at 11.30am.<\/p>\n

It is said to be a mostly flat, fast course and medals will be given out to anyone who finishes the run.<\/p>\n

A prize of \u00a3150 will be up for grabs as Wacky Races makes its return to the Carnival, as teams go head to head in \u2018ridiculously wacky\u2019 vehicles.<\/p>\n

Local football clubs, dance groups, community groups, charities and other organisations will be getting involved in the Carnival and the procession.<\/p>\n
