Kate Gosselin was seemingly unbothered regarding son Collin\u2019s upcoming tell-all <\/a>about his tumultuous childhood, in a new TikTok video she posted Sunday.<\/p>\n

In her video<\/a>, the former \u201cJon & Kate Plus 8\u201d star gave an update on her rescue dog, Koda<\/a>, as well as her other dog, Meika \u2014 completely ignoring Collin making headlines with his new memoir, \u201cIn the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood<\/a>.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n

\u201cI have a really cute video of Koda and the trainer\u2019s kids \u2014 very cute,\u201d she said, appearing to be in an upbeat mood while Koda was away completing training.<\/p>\n

She even gave an update on the weather, noting it was \u201cvery hot and humid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kate Gosselin shared a TikTok video Sunday, completely ignoring her son Collin making headlines for his upcoming memoir about his tumultuous childhood. TikTok\/kate.gosselin<\/p>\n

\u201cAnyway, have a great day, enjoy the video, and I think we\u2019re under 10 days until we get Koda back,\u201d
she told her followers. \u201cCan\u2019t wait.\u201d<\/p>\n

Collin, 22, has been promoting his memoir,<\/a> which, according to its description shared by the publisher, promises to share the \u201cnever-before-told story of how [Collin] escaped and found his way back from the dark.\u201d<\/p>\n

The book will revisit Collin \u201cbeing held down, the basement cell where he was hidden for years and the cocktail of powerful antipsychotics forced on an 11-year-old boy.\u201d<\/p>\n

Collin has continued to take jabs at his mom on social media<\/a> ahead of his memoir coming out on Oct. 13. On Sunday, he posted a throwback clip on his Instagram Stories of himself talking about Kate in an interview, writing, \u201cThis was a year ago and I\u2019ve been stood up by my mom \u2026 again,\u201d alongside a crying laughing emoji.<\/p>\n

Kate posted a video of Meika running around her deck with a mop. TikTok\/kate.gosselin<\/p>\n

In the clip, Collin says, \u201cThis is my formal invitation to her, to the hospital. Like the day that she literally got me out of the house. She had her ambulance friends come pick me up.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBut I\u2019m not gonna talk much on that because I\u2019m putting all this in a tell-all that I\u2019m writing right now and we will be going into detail on every little thing, so.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continues, \u201cI would like to invite my mom to do a lie-detector test. \u2026 I want to get into everything. \u2026 For so long, she\u2019s been putting on this facade to the media, even before TikTok.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kate has been \u201cspiraling\u201d ahead of her son\u2019s memoir,<\/a> the Daily Mail reported Saturday.<\/p>\n

\u201cKate had no idea this book was in the works,\u201d an insider told the outlet, noting that Kate hasn\u2019t spoken to Collin since she institutionalized him as a child.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe didn\u2019t expect any of this to ever come out. Now she\u2019s spiraling because she knows it\u2019s about to hit the fan,\u201d they continued.<\/p>\n

Collin\u2019s new memoir is out Oct. 13. Grand Central Publishing<\/p>\n

Collin has accused his mom of abuse over the years, which she\u2019s denied. He now lives with his father, Jon Gosselin. jongosselin\/Instagram<\/p>\n

In addition to Collin, Kate, 51, and her ex-husband, Jon, 49, are the parents of\u00a0his sextuplet siblings<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 Aaden, Joel, Alexis, Hannah and Leah \u2014 and 25-year-old twins Cara and Madelyn.<\/p>\n

The family rose to fame on the TLC series \u201cJon & Kate Plus 8,\u201d which aired from 2007 to 2017.<\/p>\n

Jon and Kate split in 2009 after 10 years of marriage. In 2018, Jon\u00a0received sole custody of Collin<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Throughout the years, Collin has\u00a0accused Kate of \u201cchild abuse and child exploitation,\u201d<\/a>\u00a0which she\u2019s denied. Her lawyer told the US Sun back in September 2024 that he didn\u2019t believe Kate has done anything to \u201cintentionally harm\u201d Collin<\/a>, and that she \u201cdid what she did to protect herself and her family\u201d from her son\u2019s \u201ctroubled behavior.\u201d<\/p>\n
