The Raiders have not had a winning season, nor have they made the playoffs since 2021. The team hasn\u2019t won more than eight games in that stretch, which concluded with a 3-14 season in 2025. Last year\u2019s futility landed them with the No. 1 overall pick of the 2026 draft.<\/p>\n

Last year, we just underperformed in every area,” he said<\/a>. “And it\u2019s everybody\u2019s fault. That\u2019s the reality.<\/p>\n “There\u2019s nobody who did a good job. There\u2019s not one player in the organization, there\u2019s not anybody involved that did the job to the level that it needs to be done at. And everybody needs to improve. (Candice Ward\/Imagn Images)<\/p>\n Brady said he expected a “massive improvement” all around as the team revamped its personnel from the sidelines down to those playing on the field.<\/p>\n He added that with more reps on the field, a good team should be better from the beginning of the year to the end.<\/p>\n The team hired Klint Kubiak as its new head coach in the offseason after he helped guide the Seattle Seahawks to a Super Bowl title.<\/p>\n The Raiders selected quarterback Fernando Mendoza<\/a> with the top pick and signed Kirk Cousins to ramp up the competition at the position.
