LUBBOCK, Texas \u2013 Paramount+ announced the greenlight of a new docuseries chronicling the Texas Tech football team through one of the most consequential offseasons in the\u00a0history of the sport, from director and showrunner Micah Brown (Coach Prime, Untold: Sign
\nStealer). Produced by Skydance Sports, the award-winning, premium content studio, the four-episode docuseries has been in production since January 2026 and is expected to premiere\u00a0ahead of this year’s college football season.

\n\tSet in the intense world of college football, the docuseries follows the Texas Tech Red Raiders as Head Coach Joey McGuire<\/a> builds a new team identity during a\u00a0demanding offseason.

\n\tSkydance Sports is producing the series with Second Wind Creative.
\n\tSkydance Sports is the studio behind the critically acclaimed documentary series “Rafa”and “aka Charlie Sheen,” as well as the Golden Globe nominated feature film “Air,” starring Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. The studio recently received 10 Sports Emmy\u00a0nominations for documentaries including America’s Team: The Gambler and His\u00a0Cowboys, WWE: Unreal, Elway, and Saquon.
\n\tThis announcement follows other recent greenlights from Paramount+ including Fear Not starring Anne Hathaway, 9\/12 starring Jeremy Strong and Discretion starring Nicole Kidman and Elle Fanning. The new greenlight also joins sports content such as the currently running college basketball docuseries, Made for March, the upcoming Clint Dempsey soccer deep dive, You Don’t Know Where I’m From, Dawg and the forthcoming golf travel series, Off Course (W\/T), with Bill Murray. This new docuseries also joins the over 14,000 hours of Sports programming available on the service.
