Police are looking for a man who they say fired several gunshots near a Raleigh apartment early Tuesday morning.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The WRAL Breaking News Tracker arrived at the incident near St. Giles Street sometime after 1 a.m. A large portion of the parking lot was taped off with more than a dozen evidence markers for possible bullet casings in front of an apartment building.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Police said the shooting began as a domestic dispute between a man and a woman before the argument escalated and the man began shooting into the air. <\/p>\n

The man left the area in a vehicle before officers arrived on scene, according to investigators. Charges are pending.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Police said it did not appear any people or apartment units were hit.
