CORINTH, Miss. (WLBT) – Two former pharmacists have received their sentences in connection to a healthcare fraud scheme, Attorney General Lynn Fitch announced Monday.<\/p>\n
According to officials, between 2017 and 2021, Ricky Wayne Quinn and John Anthony \u201cAndy\u201d Null – both owners of Medical Plaza Pharmacy in Corinth, Mississippi – knowingly submitted false and fraudulent claims to Medicare and Medicaid for pharmaceutical drugs which were not given to patients.<\/p>\n
Null received his sentence on April 20, 2026.<\/p>\n
On June 29, Quinn was sentenced to 30 months in the custody of the Federal Bureau of Prisons and three years of supervised release.<\/p>\n
Both Null and Quinn were ordered to pay jointly the full restitution of $786,972.10 to the Mississippi Division of Medicaid.<\/p>\n
The Mississippi Attorney General\u2019s Office and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General investigated this case.<\/p>\n
The case was prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office for the Northern District of Mississippi.<\/p>\n

Working together, we are ensuring justice is served on behalf of Mississippi taxpayers.\u201d<\/p>\n
