Ben Waddell is leaving \u201cSummer House\u201d after just one season.<\/p>\n
Waddell \u2014 along with girlfriend Sabrina Belle \u2014 has departed the reality series ahead of Season 11, Page Six confirms.<\/p>\n
\u201cBen and Sabrina had the greatest time last summer,\u201d Waddell\u2019s team told us in a statement. \u201cThere\u2019s so much love that exists between the friend group, and the entire Bravo family.\u201d<\/p>\n
The spokesperson added, \u201cAs for the future, time will tell. They\u2019re looking forward to what\u2019s ahead.\u201d<\/p>\n
Deadline<\/a> was first to report the news.<\/p>\n Ben Waddell is leaving \u201cSummer House\u201d after just one season, Page Six confirmed. GC Images<\/p>\n Waddell, a model from Melbourne, Australia, first gained attention as a lead on the 11th season of the since-canceled \u201cThe Bachelor Australia\u201d in 2023.<\/p>\n On the show, he chose a contestant named Mckenna Lea, opting to enter into a relationship with her rather than propose.<\/p>\n Shortly after the finale aired, the couple announced their split.<\/p>\n Waddell joined the main \u201cSummer House\u201d cast ahead of Season 10 and Belle made her entry into the show mid-season.<\/p>\n Ahead of Belle\u2019s introduction, Waddell told some of his cast members he was \u201cfalling in love with this girl more and more every day,\u201d calling her \u201cpriority number one.\u201d<\/p>\n Waddell joined the main cast of \u201cSummer House\u201d for Season 10 following his time on \u201cThe Bachelor Australia\u201d in 2023. After deciding to go their separate ways, they eventually \u201creconnected.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I reached back out to Sabrina to let her know I\u2019m thinking of her, she was very open. Positive. And rearing to go,\u201d Waddell said in a confessional.<\/p>\n \u201cI feel pretty special that she was willing to give me another chance,\u201d he continued. \u201cBecause I\u2019ve realized that I care about her a lot, and this is what I want to work, so that\u2019s why I\u2019m nervous as f\u2013k.\u201d<\/p>\n On the day of the Season 10 finale, Waddell shared an Instagram post<\/a> reflecting on his experience.<\/p>\n \u201ca lot has happened since last summer, but one thing that remains is there is still a lot of love within this group \ud83e\udd0d that will never change x,\u201d he wrote alongside a carousel of images featuring him, Belle and several cast members.<\/p>\n Waddell isn\u2019t the only cast member leaving ahead of Season 11; his exit was confirmed the same day Amanda Batula exited the show while West Wilson was ousted earlier this month.
