\n\tEXCLUSIVE: Cleopatra\u00a0Entertainment has acquired North American distribution rights to feature documentary Twiggy<\/a>, the sophomore directorial outing of Brit actress Sadie Frost<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe well-received film takes an intimate, star-studded look at the life and legacy of the eponymous 1960\u2019s supermodel, starting from\u00a0her meteoric rise from a working-class London teen to a global \u201cit-girl\u201d and cultural icon. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe documentary blends\u00a0archival footage with exclusive, modern-day interviews with famous friends and fans, including Paul McCartney, Dustin Hoffman and Brooke Shields, amongst others. The film played at festivals including London, Rio, Sydney, Dublin and Dinard. \u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tThe film will be released stateside on VOD Platforms and on Home Entertainment DVD formats on September 22nd 2026, following New York Fashion Week (NYFW) and there will be two special screenings in New York and LA, which\u00a0Twiggy\u00a0and Sadie Frost are both due to attend.\u00a0<\/p>\n

\n\tSadie Frost said: \u201cAfter my debut documentary on the iconic fashion designer Mary Quant, I wanted to dive deeper into the era and cultural figures who paved the way for how fashion evolved.\u00a0\u00a0Twiggy\u00a0was a working-class London girl who against all odds took on the world, changing the look of women \u2013 both in society and fashion \u2013 forever. She is an integral part of British culture and before she had turned 17, she had already ascended into an international phenomenon. After a successful international run, I am delighted to now bring the film to a US audience.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTwiggy added: \u201cI\u2019m so thrilled that the Twiggy\u00a0documentary directed by Sadie Frost is now to be released in the USA. I\u2019m over the moon at the international reception we\u2019ve received for the film and can\u2019t wait for its launch in America.\u201d<\/p>\n
