He&#8217;s the perfect complement to a contenders top six and can put up numbers in a hurry on the power play.<\/p>\n<p>Heading into free agency, there&#8217;s going to be a number of teams interested in signing Kane, who is likely to land a one, or two-year contract, and while there&#8217;s going to be multiple offers coming his way, speculation is brewing that he&#8217;s considering only the Buffalo Sabres and Toronto Maple Leafs.<\/p>\n<p>The Sabres lost Alex Tuch, and have a giant hole at right wing among their top six. Kane, a Buffalo native, could be the type of hometown here the team needs to get the Sabres back into the playoffs and once again making noise.<\/p>\n<p>The Leafs have Gavin McKenna on the way, but they also need a right winger for their top six, as William Nylander is essentially on an island at this point.
