When a CME reaches Earth, it can interact with the planet&#8217;s magnetic field and produce bright, active auroras.<\/p>\n<p data-v-438398f6=\"\">Because of this event, officials expect the Northern Lights to be visible across parts of the northern <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fxw_earth-space_article_main-content_article-body_2_13\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/us\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">U.S.<\/a> and Upper <a data-omtr-intcmp=\"fxw_earth-space_article_main-content_article-body_2_14\" href=\"https:\/\/www.foxweather.com\/category\/midwest\" target=\"_blank\"
