\n\tBeyonc\u00e9 delivered some fireworks on the Fourth of July as the singer surprise released a new track titled \u201cMorning Dew (Donk),\u201d her first new song in two years.<\/p>\n
\n\tAccording to a press release, the song is \u201ca direct nod to her loyal BeyHive to commemorate the upcoming epic celebration of B\u2019Day\u201c; the \u201cMorning Dew (Donk)\u201d release marks the official start of a 60-day countdown to the 20th anniversary of Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s second album B\u2019Day, released September 4, 2006. (September 4th also happens to be Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s actual birthday.)<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
\n\t\u201cMorning Dew (Donk),\u201d which was reportedly initially slated for that 2006 LP, was co-written by Beyonc\u00e9, Pharrell Williams, The-Dream and Darius Dixon, and produced by Beyonc\u00e9 and Williams. The song was paired with a lyric video that reuses two-decade-old footage shot by collaborator Cliff Watts, who also photographed Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover.<\/p>\n
