{"id":743811,"date":"2026-07-05T02:12:09","date_gmt":"2026-07-05T02:12:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/743811\/"},"modified":"2026-07-05T02:12:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T02:12:09","slug":"trio-of-beavers-named-2026-mlb-all-stars","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/743811\/","title":{"rendered":"Trio Of Beavers Named 2026 MLB All-Stars"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>CORVALLIS, Ore. \u2013 Travis Bazzana, Drew Rasmussen and Adley Rutschman have been named Major League Baseball All-Stars, giving Oregon State three representatives for the second consecutive season.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nRutschman is an All-Star for a third time while Rasmussen is a repeat selection from 2025. Bazzana, meanwhile, has been selected in his rookie season.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe 2026 game will be played in Philadelphia on July 14 at 5 p.m. PT. It will air on FOX.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nBazzana, the No. 1 overall selection in the 2024 MLB Draft, is batting .255 with seven home runs, 27 runs batted in and 12 stolen bases in 57 games for Cleveland since making his MLB debut on April 28.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nRasmussen is 7-4 with a 2.45 earned run average in 16 games \u2013 all starts \u2013 for Tampa Bay this season. The righty, who has yet to start a game in July, was exceptional in June.
