{"id":744994,"date":"2026-07-05T17:58:38","date_gmt":"2026-07-05T17:58:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/744994\/"},"modified":"2026-07-05T17:58:38","modified_gmt":"2026-07-05T17:58:38","slug":"international-team-carries-one-point-lead-into-final-day-of-arnold-palmer-cup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/744994\/","title":{"rendered":"International team carries one point lead into final day of Arnold Palmer Cup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Paula Francisco and Niall Sheils Donegan created some necessary separation for the International squad on Day 2 at the <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.golfchannel.com\/ncaa\/news\/2026-arnold-palmer-cup-teams-format-venue-how-to-watch-streams\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Arnold Palmer Cup<\/a> on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>The <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.golfchannel.com\/ncaa\/news\/u-s-international-teams-tied-after-day-1-of-30th-arnold-palmer-cup\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">stalemated international contest at Tralee Golf Links<\/a> in Ireland was heading for another possible tie until Francisco\u2019s late putt helped secure her and Donegan\u2019s mixed foursomes match over Americans Avery Weed and William Jennings.<\/p>\n<p>The rising senior at University of Florida put the International side up 18.5 to 17.5 over the U.S. heading into the final day of singles competition.
