With the score tied 5-5, she missed a backhand long, leading to the unflattering moment. She flung her racket toward the court, and the AP reported that it &#8220;bounced up and into the few rows of stands lining Court 11.&#8221; It wasn&#8217;t clear whether it hit any of the spectators.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The chair umpire announced that Wobker was defaulted for unsportsmanlike conduct after tournament officials rendered their verdict.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MuiTypography-root MuiTypography-bp_small__body__article__medium css-1vqr2el\">The Wimbledon junior tournament will continue throughout the week before concluding with the finals next Sunday.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A 15-year-old German player competing in Wimbledon&#8217;s junior tournament was taught a lesson in sportsmanship.
