Located in Mystic, Connecticut, the Mystic Aquarium blessed all of our ‘For You’ Pages on TikTok with an adorable video of their Beluga whale saying hello. It’s definitely the cutest thing you’ll hear today and is guaranteed to make you smile!<\/p>\n

Be sure to turn the sound on for this one. Not only is this playful guy hamming it up for the camera, but he\u2019s also happily chattering away. We could seriously watch (and listen to) him all day long!<\/p>\n

Isn’t he or she just adorable? They look like they’re smiling, and we know they cheered us up! Fans of Mystic Aquarium<\/a> had lots to say about the cute Beluga<\/a> in the video and left nearly 500 comments. Like @Georgia Aquarium who shared, “They truly are the canaries of the sea.”<\/p>\n

Believe it or not, Belugas molt, much like reptiles do. Fact Animal shared, \u201cBelugas have been known to rub themselves on rocks and stones to remove their outer layer of skin. This is quite unusual for a mammal, and something we typically associate with snakes or insects.\u00a0However, it seems to be in response to a change in water conditions. When these whales enter warmer, more brackish waters, they shed a thick layer of skin, decreasing the thickness of their outer layer.\u201d<\/p>\n
