Indianapolis-based 5-star class of 2027 wideout Monshun Sales is expected to make his college decision this week.<\/p>\n
Here\u2019s what you need to know ahead of his announcement.<\/p>\n
THE MEASUREMENTS:\u00a0 Sales is 6-foot-5 and around 205 pounds.<\/p>\n
WHERE HE\u2019S RANKED:\u00a0 According to the industry averages, Sales is a 5-star, the No. 8 overall player in the class, and the No. 2 receiver.<\/p>\n
WHO HE\u2019S CONSIDERING:\u00a0 Sales is believed to be choosing from finalists Indiana, Ohio State, Alabama, Texas and LSU.\u00a0 He took official visits to all five schools over the last three months.<\/p>\n
JUNIOR SEASON STATS:\u00a0 Sales had 37 catches for 794 yards and 9 touchdowns on offense. He posted 56 tackles as a safety on defense. Sales helped Lawrence North go 7-3 as a junior in 2025.<\/p>\n

High upside wide receiver prospect with an elite combination of size and speed. Checks in at around 6-foot-4.5, 205 pounds with 32.25-inch arms and 9-inch hands. Posts excellent marks on the track, especially at his size, running 10.81 seconds in the 100 meters and 21.4 seconds in the 200 meters. A vapor trail on vertical routes. Has the potential to take the top off of defenses with regularity. Shows quality tracking skills, locating the football over his shoulder. Competitive as a blocker and physical while working as a safety.<\/p>\n

THE NATIONAL PREDICTIONS:\u00a0 Most of the buzz seems to favor IU. Rivals national analysts Greg Smith and Steve Wiltfong have both predicted Sales will commit to Indiana. Those predictions were logged soon after his April official visit to IU. There are no predictions at 247Sports.<\/p>\n
WHAT THEY\u2019RE SAYING:\u00a0 Smith and Wiltfong have stated within the last week IU is still their pick, with the caveat this is a highly competitive recruitment.<\/p>\n
WHAT AN INDIANA COMMITMENT WOULD MEAN:\u00a0\u00a0Sales would be the highest-rated recruit in program history for Indiana.\u00a0 He has a .9957 grade in the 247Sports Composite.\u00a0 Dasan McCullough is the current best all-time, with a .9701 rating.\u00a0 McCullough was the No. 75 overall player in the 2022 class.\u00a0 IU has never landed a 5-star recruit in the rankings era.<\/p>\n
WHEN HE\u2019S ANNOUNCING:\u00a0 Sales is expected to announce his commitment this week.\u00a0 He has previously stated he plans to announced on Friday, July 10.<\/p>\n
