Here are the impacted states"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">(Gray News) &#8211; Frozen blueberries sold at Publix were recalled after they were connected to multiple E. coli cases.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">On July 3, Publix said that Chilean company Frutas y Hortalizas del Sur S.A. initiated the recall of 10-ounce bags of frozen GreenWise Organic IQF Blueberries, <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.publix.com\/newsroom\/recalls\/publix-greenwise-blueberries\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/corporate.publix.com\/newsroom\/recalls\/publix-greenwise-blueberries\">according to a press release<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The recall announcement explained that between May 11 and June 5 there had been 12 confirmed E. coli cases. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The blueberries were shipped to Publix stores in Alabama, Kentucky, Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The affected products have a lot code of 60401 and a best-by date of Feb. 9, 2028.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Those infected with E. coli can experience severe stomach cramps, diarrhea and vomiting, among other symptoms.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Publix urges customers to check their freezers and to return or throw away any frozen GreenWise blueberry products with a purchase date of July 3 or earlier.<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 Gray Local Media, Inc.
