The Las Vegas Aces tendered an offer sheet to Indiana Fever rookie guard Justine Pissott on Tuesday morning.<\/p>\n
Pissott was selected No. 25 overall in the 2026 WNBA Draft but has yet to appear in a regular-season game for the Fever.<\/p>\n
Pissott, a 6-foot-4 guard out of Vanderbilt, averaged 11 points per game as a senior while shooting nearly 44% from the field and from 3-point range.<\/p>\n
Pissott is currently on a player development contract with Indiana, making her eligible to sign with another WNBA team if offered a standard roster contract.<\/p>\n
Since Pissott elected to sign the offer sheet, the Fever have 24 hours to decide whether to match the offer by signing her to a standard roster contract or allow her to join the defending champions.<\/p>\n
If Indiana chooses to retain Pissott, it would need to clear a roster spot, a move that could trigger additional transactions around the league. Las Vegas would also have to make a corresponding roster move if the acquisition becomes official.<\/p>\n
The move comes as the Aces continue to play without guard Dana Evans, who remains sidelined with a leg injury, and would provide additional depth in the backcourt if completed.<\/p>\n
The Fever return to Las Vegas on Sunday for the second meeting between the teams this season.
