He saved a life, and the life he saved had a special person donate for them,\u201d the \u201cHavoc\u201d actress added. <\/p>\n<p>Bijou Phillips (seen above) underwent a life-saving kidney transplant. bijouphillips\/Instagram<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am beyond beyond grateful to everyone who rushed into help me, get checked to donate, you are all hero\u2019s [sic]!\u201d she captioned a post on Instagram Tuesday. So close it\u2019s like I got the kidney from one of my parents!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Phillips, 46, then praised her doctor for his amazing \u201csurgical skills\u201d with her transplant.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am so blow [sic] away by Dr Veale and the magic he does! The kidney exchange, voucher program, and his surgical skills!!! He only cut the facia! He didn\u2019t cut the muscles so I didn\u2019t even really need much pain medication at all, just Tylenol!\u201d she raved. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cI feel at five days out like I did four months after my last surgery! The technique he developed is brilliant and he is a lifesaver!\u201d Phillips added.<\/p>\n<p>Phillips said her \u201cwonderful\u201d brother Aron Wilson (seen above) donated in the kidney exchange.
