Justin Baldoni is speaking out after settling his long legal battle<\/a> with Blake Lively.<\/p>\n

In a video the \u201cJane the Virgin\u201d alum posted to Instagram<\/a> Wednesday, his wife, Emily, said they were feeling \u201cimmense gratitude\u201d for those who supported them since Lively first came forward with allegations<\/a> against her \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d director and co-star in December 2024.<\/p>\n

Justin, 42, noted, \u201cGratitude has saved us.\u201d<\/p>\n

That said, Emily explained that any thankfulness they have for support \u201cdoesn\u2019t negate the injustice and the pain\u201d they\u2019ve felt over the past few years.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ve had to wrestle with so many things and try to understand so many things, like how can something happen like this even happen \u2014 let alone disguised as a fight for women,\u201d she said, acknowledging \u201cthere\u2019s been a lot of trauma\u201d for them to \u201cmove through as a family.\u201d<\/p>\n

The father of two explained why they waited so long to speak out.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere have been so many painful things spoken into existence over the last couple years,\u201d Justin said as his wife interjected, \u201cUntruthful.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd that created so much noise, and we didn\u2019t want to add to the noise,\u201d he continued. \u201cSo we just wanted to let the justice system run its course.\u201d<\/p>\n

Emily chimed in, \u201cAnd the truth and facts have spoken for themselves, and here we are.\u201d<\/p>\n

Justin said they are \u201chealing\u201d after going through a \u201ctraumatic\u201d experience and expressed appreciation for fans who vocally supported them when they couldn\u2019t speak for themselves.<\/p>\n

Justin and Lively, 38, settled their intense court battle stemming from their 2024 film \u201cIt Ends With Us\u201d on May 4 \u2014 just two weeks before their trial was scheduled to begin.<\/p>\n

The settlement came a month after a judge\u00a0threw out 10 out of 13 of Lively\u2019s claims<\/a>, including her claim that Justin sexually harassed her.<\/p>\n

In a joint statement to Page Six about their settlement, the two noted, \u201cThe end product \u2014 the movie \u2018It Ends With\u00a0Us\u2019 \u2014 is a source of pride to all of us who worked to bring it to life. Raising awareness, and\u00a0making a meaningful impact in the lives of domestic violence survivors \u2014 and all survivors \u2014 is a goal that we stand behind.\u201d<\/p>\n

They continued, \u201cWe acknowledge the process presented challenges and recognize concerns raised by Ms. Lively deserved to be heard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Both parties added that they \u201cremain firmly committed to workplaces free of improprieties and unproductive environments\u201d and it is their \u201csincere hope that this brings closure and allows all involved to move forward constructively and in peace, including a respectful environment online.\u201d<\/p>\n

Page Six confirmed that neither Lively nor Justin earned any money in their settlement.<\/a><\/p>\n

However, both Lively and Justin\u2019s legal teams\u00a0made $60 million combined<\/a>\u00a0to sue and countersue one another, sources told Page Six Hollywood.<\/p>\n

Just hours after the settlement, Lively attended the 2026 Met Gala<\/a>, where she posed on the red carpet in a pastel archival Versace gown from 2006. A day later, her husband, Ryan Reynolds, also shared a carefree selfie of the two.<\/a><\/p>\n

In recent weeks, Lively demanded Justin pay more than $8 million in legal fees<\/a> and spent time with her family in Upstate New York<\/a> while former best friend Taylor Swift married Travis Kelce<\/a> in a star-studded wedding<\/a> at Madison Square Garden.<\/p>\n

A source told Page Six that Swift believes \u201ctheir friendship is done\u201d<\/a> after the pop star was dragged into Lively\u2019s legal battle with Justin<\/a>.<\/p>\n
