Nivar was\u00a0originally selected by the Dream in the\u00a0second\u00a0round of the\u00a02026 WNBA Draft.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Simultaneously,\u00a0the Dream has waived forward Amy Okonkwo.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>About the Atlanta Dream\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Established in 2008, the Atlanta Dream is the Southeast\u2019s only WNBA franchise, playing its home games at Gateway Center Arena @ College Park. This year the Dream will play six home games at State Farm Arena, continuing the organization\u2019s commitment to elevating the game on the biggest stages. Dream games are telecast locally on Atlanta News First (WANF-TV) and streamed on Victory+. Since 2009, the Dream has produced 13\u00a0WNBA All-Stars, earned 11 playoff\u00a0bids\u00a0and made three WNBA\u00a0finals\u00a0appearances.
