Trump said at his news conference that he’s not sure he wants to find a peaceful resolution to the conflict with Iran anymore now that the ceasefire has ended. <\/p>\n
“We can play games, but I’m not sure I want to make a deal. Let’s just finish the job,” Trump said when asked what changed with the U.S. posture toward Iran. <\/p>\n
“I’ll tell you what happens next,” Trump continued. “We’re never going to see Iran have a nuclear weapon, because that’s much more important than the numbers you’re talking about. The prices of oil are dropping like a rock now, they’ll be up a little bit, and this will end very quickly.\u00a0“<\/p>\n
Trump, however, said that the Iran war is not restarting. <\/p>\n
“I don’t think it’s going to start again. I think it’s going to go very quickly,” he said. “They hit a couple of ships, and so we hit them much harder.”<\/p>\n
“Somebody asked before, ‘Do you think you hit them tonight?’ I said, ‘We might.
