There&#8217;s no word yet on what caused the crash. <\/p>\n<p>It happened just before 6 p.m. on Reisterstown Road, spanning several blocks between Old Court Road and McHenry Avenue. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The bus took out one, two, three, four, five, six, seven cars, took out the telephone pole and then took out the business where it sits,&#8221; a witness told CBS News Baltimore.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/crash2-copy.jpg#.jpeg\" alt=\"crash2-copy.jpg \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                  The bus crashed into a FedEx building Reisterstown Road in Pikesville, Maryland on July 8, 2026<\/p>\n<p>                Baltimore County Fire Department<\/p>\n<p>Baltimore County Fire Chief Joseph Dixon said the bus hit 11 vehicles before crashing into a FedEx building. Some were heavily damaged, including one car that flipped onto its roof.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s more like a war scene,&#8221; Dixon <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/baltimore\/video\/baltimore-county-officials-provide-update-on-major-baltimore-county-crash\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">told CBS News Baltimore<\/a>. &#8220;An event like this, when we have what we call a mass casualty, overwhelms.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The Baltimore County Fire Department later said at least 33 people were taken to the hospital. Dixon said one of them was in critical condition.<\/p>\n<p>Several people were taken away on stretchers, including the bus driver. Power lines were also brought down in the crash.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Daisy Flores, who works at a nearby pizza shop, said they rushed out to help the crash victims.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;A pretty sad scene to see,&#8221; she said. &#8220;We were offering them water and to see if they needed any help, but they were in shock, so they couldn&#8217;t talk or say anything.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>      <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/crash1-copy.jpg#.jpeg\" alt=\"crash1-copy.jpg \" height=\"349\" width=\"620\" class=\" lazyload\"  loading=\"lazy\"\/><\/p>\n<p>                  The bus crashed into a FedEx building Reisterstown Road in Pikesville, Maryland on July 8, 2026<\/p>\n<p>                Baltimore County Fire Department<\/p>\n<p>Maryland Gov.
