Getty Images<\/p>\n<p>Schefter, 59, recently shut down any talk that he would follow the retirement path of former colleague, NBA insider Adrian Wojnarowski. who cut off the \u201cWoj bomb\u201d early in 2024 when taking a job at his alma mater, St. Bonaventure.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know a lot has been made about my age this week and how I\u2019m retiring, which by the way, no f\u2013king chance about that if you don\u2019t mind my language,\u201d Schefter said on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=FttkjidyEho\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">his eponymous podcast<\/a> in April. <\/p>\n<p>In extending Schefter, ESPN will now pair him long-term insider Ian Rapoport who joined ESPN when they acquired NFL Network.
