\n\tAs fans and loved ones mourn Bonnie Tyler<\/a>, Hollywood is paying tribute to the Welsh \u201cTotal Eclipse of the Heart\u201d rocker.<\/p>\n

\n\tFollowing the 3x Grammy nominee\u2019s death at age 75<\/a>, months after she was put into medically induced coma<\/a> resulting from an emergency surgery for a perforated intestine. Kevin Bacon, Johnny Knoxville and Rod Stewart were among those to remember Tyler\u2019s life, legacy and music.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cOne of the great voices of rock,\u201d Bacon told Entertainment Weekly<\/a> in a statement of Tyler, who recorded her 1984 single \u201cHolding Out for a Hero\u201d for the Footloose soundtrack. \u201cI could not imagine chicken-racing a tractor to any other song. RIP.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAfter the beloved song was also featured in Jackass: Best and Last, the final installment of the stunt-comedy franchise now in theaters, Knoxville expressed his appreciation for Tyler. \u201cBonnie Tyler, thanks for letting ur music be a part of Jackass. RIP,\u201d he wrote on his Instagram Story.<\/p>\n

\n\tStewart, who collaborated with Tyler on her penultimate 2019 album Between the Earth and the Stars, paid musical tribute to his friend. \u201cWe lost a good friend of mine in the last 24 hours, Bonnie Tyler,\u201d the Rock & Roll Hall of Famer said before launching into her 1977 hit \u201cIt\u2019s a Heartache\u201d with Jools Holland in Scotland.<\/p>\n

\n\tCatherine Zeta Jones, who was related to Tyler by marriage, also shared a tribute on Instagram. \u201cMy heart is broken with the news that our dearest Bonnie Tyler has passed away,\u201d she wrote<\/a>. \u201cBonnie was married to my cousin and has been such a part\u00a0 of my life. We are photographed here together the night before my wedding. She sang and rocked it at my wedding.\u00a0An extraordinary woman with vocals to match. A one of kind artist, who so easily could have been a comedian\u00a0because she was one of the funniest people I ever met. Thank you Bonnie for the joy you brought so many.\u00a0Sleep tight beautiful lady. We shall forever \u2018Keep A Welcome In The Hillsides\u2019 of Wales for\u00a0you.\u00a0Sending my love to Robert and the family. God Bless.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tDavid Guetta, who featured Tyler on his and Hypaton\u2019s 2025 song \u201cTogether\u201d, wrote on Instagram<\/a>: \u201cYour music and spirit will live on forever. \u2018Together\u2019 will always mean a little more now. Grateful we got to share this song with you and @hypaton. Rest in peace @bonnietylerofficial.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tBryan Adams, who appeared on her 1986 album Secret Dreams and Forbidden Fire after she covered his \u201983 song \u201cStraight from the Heart\u201d, wrote on X<\/a>, \u201cDear Bonnie Tyler passed today, she had such a great voice and I\u2019ll always be grateful of her beautiful version of \u2018Straight From The Heart\u2019. Thanks Bonnie. RIP.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tTyler died on Wednesday in a Portugal hospital, according to a statement on her website. \u201cBonnie\u2019s family and team are heartbroken to announce that Bonnie unexpectedly passed away last night in a hospital in Portugal as a result of the illness that she was being treated for,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n
