\n\tNIGHT AT THE MUSEUM: Sarah Jessica Parker<\/a> was impressed by the artworks on display at the Galleria Nazionale d\u2019Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, the location chosen by Maria Grazia Chiuri<\/a> to show her first couture show for Fendi<\/a>. \u201cI\u2019m really stunned, I think it\u2019s extraordinary, I can\u2019t believe I\u2019m here. My only regret is that I wish my family were here,\u201d said the actress before the show, touring the museum.<\/p>\n

\n\tShe marveled at the attention paid by artists \u201cdedicating themselves to documenting the working class, people in service. It\u2019s not what we typically see in one room. And [I discovered] so many Italian Pop artists that I didn\u2019t know until now. It\u2019s a gift inside the gift inside the gift.\u201d While having to leave the next day, she added, smiling, that \u201cRome isn\u2019t going anywhere. I will be back.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tParker is fronting the new Fendi Baguette campaign<\/a> and, asked about the longevity of the collaboration, she said, \u201cI don\u2019t think we [at \u2018Sex and the City\u2019] ever imagined that any house with the stature of Fendi would even loan us anything and that it was in fact a Baguette was a confluence of things that came together in a really consequential way. I feel lucky that I was the one holding it, but outside of this, it\u2019s the relationship built with Silvia [Venturini Fendi] and the family that I\u2019m hugely grateful for and their hospitality. And this tonight is on another level; it\u2019s always on another level.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tJessica Alba<\/a>, who just wrapped up the action thriller movie \u201cThe Mark,\u201d also fronted the Baguette campaign and said \u201cit was very different from acting, but you do play a little bit of a character. It was really fun and easy, and an honor since it\u2019s such an iconic bag and to be part of\u00a0it with Sarah Jessica Parker \u2014 wow, it\u2019s kind of a pinch-me moment.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tValeria Golino, who directed the short film \u201cLove Monster,\u201d starring Leila George and Pietro Castellitto that premiered with the show, said she and her longtime friend Chiuri thought of it over a glass of wine. \u201cShe told me what she felt she needed for this couture defil\u00e9, she gave me some input but also carte blanche. \u2018Do whatever you feel, whatever inspires you,\u2019 she said. I used the clothes and the music of the show so the film and the show are connected, my movie is married to the film,\u201d Golino said, smiling.<\/p>\n
