The Harris County Sheriff\u2019s Office is investigating a deadly shooting in west Harris County early Friday morning.<\/p>\n
According to the sheriff\u2019s office, deputies responded to a shooting around 2:48 a.m. on the northbound lanes of SH-99 (Grand Parkway) near FM 529\/Freeman Road.<\/p>\n
When deputies arrived, they found one person who had been shot. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Investigators have classified the case as a homicide.<\/p>\n
No information has been released about the victim\u2019s identity or what led to the shooting. Authorities have also not said whether a suspect has been identified or taken into custody.<\/p>\n
All frontage lanes on SH-99 Grand Parkway at FM 529 are currently shut down while deputies investigate. <\/p>\n
The investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n
